In A Fog

 

 

I have been "in a fog"  over the past few months.  A plethora of medical problems hit me all at once - alimentary, balance, a damaged foot and sleeping around 15 hours a day.  With it being difficult to walk, frequently falling over and often unable to drive (BP too high) my life has been severely disrupted.

Thanks to the NHS I have received therapy and medication which has brought me back to reality.  Walking around with a cyber-man helmet on had it's moments.  It has also helped that the ambient temperature has reduced over the past couple of weeks.  

Time for a Catch-Up methinks.  

(I) I had a DBMM game on the 23rd June at Al's place (Wrenthorpe) - Carthaginians vs ? [didn't write it down].  It did not go well.  Andy's flank march came onto our right flank and kept me occupied for most of the game. 

I have noticed that Later Carthaginians do not do so well under DBM/DBMM.  Most of the Roman armies are in the same boat.  Maybe we should write off Hannibal's army as yet another under-performer!  Incidentally I am converting my Carth army into DBA units (but more of that next time).
